It sounds as though you have a bunch of things hitting you from all angles. Family pressure to thrive and succeed not only in an academic setting, but also in a cultural and social one as well. I wish that you had more people that you could connect with at University, but if it makes any difference, you've found a great site here with so many wonderful caring people. I too am 20 and am going into my fourth year of University. And while I can't say that I've experienced exactly the same things you have, there were many things in your post that I could relate with.
