When I was younger and lived in Nevada, (up in a tiny north-eastern town hundreds of miles from any large city), I developed the hobby of growing house plants. I even taught myself how to sterilize and mix outdoor soils to accomodate the high volume I needed, as I had my entire house filled with them over the years.
What started out to be a couple plants, turned into well over 120. It came so natrual for me to grow anything. Dad used to say that walking into my house reminded him of a tropical forest...the atmosphere of all the lush greenery and the additions of the sound of my parrots squacking...lol.
Since, I moved so many times that lost plants here n there, gave away to ease the trama from the many transitions.
I know this sounds funny but, plants do have feelings, and moves do upset them. I would have never believed it but, plants thrive on loving words, too....lol.
Discovered silks don't requite water..tho they do require the occassional washings that the live do. They just aren't as sensitive....lol. Not as rewarding to grow tho....they just don't seem to change much....LMAO.
