We have a new family of quail in our neighborhood and they just love our lawn! There are about 8-9 babies and the two parents. The father is so protective and keeps a watchful eye on the family while the mom shows the babies how to get food. They are so incredibly fast that most pictures had to be taken from our guest bedroom in the front part of the house or from far away before they saw me! Here are some pictures:
