I'm SO glad your bf is being supportive. I think it will change the relationship to some level but not necessarily in a bad way, maybe even a good one I've found writing things out helps me alot and I"m glad it's working at least for short term for you.

I wish I could give you some magic to make it better, but we've got a long road to follow. dont give up hope though, it's not easy but it's there.
