Hi! I am new to this forum. I have been on adderal for the last 2 years and it's affects are wearing off. It doesn't last long enough anymore. I do like how it helps me focus while I am studying, but I find that within a few hours I become frustrated and angry because I have lost my focus. My insurance doesn't pay for psychiatric drugs so Adderal XR is expensive and so are all the other ADHD drugs, since they have no generic available yet. My doctor gave me script for Effexor, which I have had before, but not with adderal. You said it didn't work for you in that it made you anxious and couldn't sleep. Is this neurotin new on the market and is it expensive? I didn't get the effexor because it was almost $100.00 in the generic kind. My generic adderal is $80.00 and I couldn't justify spending so much on these meds eventhough it helps me get going and motivates me to study. I just take the adderal as I need it when I am studying, and I don't know if that is good for me. Anyway, thanks for your time!
