Yeah... that mind over matter stuff really gets me, too. It's like "Okay... think about it... do you think anyone would want to feel like this?"  People need to realize that we are how we are and most, if not all of us, wouldn't wish it on anyone... except those who tell us all the crap about snapping out of it... they could more than likely use a day or two in our shoes to learn the fine art of emathy!
