Hi folks,

As a personal view I would like to say that Psych Central has been a lifeline for me. I've been here for quite a while now, having tried some other sites, and this place has worked.

There are some features that I have found particularly helpful. The fact that there are rules here, makes me feel comfortable. Suffering from depression, it's easy to feel rejected and back off, but here I have felt that the moderators are looking after us and doing their job. Dr John's clear rules on posting make me feel safe, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

There are lots of forums on the internet where people can play out their anger, and where you can read 'flaming' posts, and this is fine for those who want it. For me, I come here for support and to support others if I can, and I think that this site is just right for that.

Psych Central is a professional site, run in a professional manner, and long may it continue!
