when the girls were little they needed to understand why they could feel free to pee in the ocean if they wanted- but not in a pool. Of course they were discouraged from public urination at all- but told a pool is too small, the water must be filtered, it is unhealthy if everyone did it, you will embarass yourself, others will be made uncomfortable or angry. It is best when the urge comes and the bladder is full to get out and pee in the restroom or go before you get in.
