I took Prozac for 3 years, was off it for 2years and went back on it 2 years ago. It never affected me that way. As a matter of fact it improved my depression a little at a time so I didn't even realize the difference. I just noticed one day I was not as depressed. One side effect that I did have was that it doesn't allow me to sleep very well. The Dr. added Trazodone because it has sedative effects so I take one before I go to bed. If I forget it doesn't take long before I realize it.

To have such a reaction in only one day seems a bit extreme. I'd mention it to your Dr. just to be sure. Good luck.
