Yes, sounds familiar!
You might want to keep one eye (or both, if you can manage it!) on an alternative explanation: that you do deserve it, but there's still some stuff in the way of your seeing that, that you're continuing to plow through. Of course when you plow through stuff, it
does come up to be looked at.
FWIW, when stuff comes up for me I've found that the most expeditious way to deal with it is to look it directly in the eye, stare it down. If I try to turn away from it, it jumps on my back and rides me for a long time.
