I sorry you are having such a problem with your foot/ankle.

I worked for a podiatrist and didn't know what Sinus Tarsi Syndrome was, so I googled it. I don't remember one case with that DX in over two years. Did it start out like plantar fascitis or some call it 'heel spurs'?

Do you know what caused yours? Did you twist your ankle at one time, or fracture something?

When I googled it, it suggest all sorts of things, ice, rest, etc..... but not surgery, or was it "just" the neuroma that you had the surgery on? Like that isn't enough?

One of the exercises I saw in the google artical I read was a "wobble board". Wobble boards are used to strenghth all the muscles around the ankle/foot. I've seen a few people using them while I was doing PT over the past month for my shoulder.

Did you get physical therapy for it, or what was your treatment?

I've worked in doctors offices for a lot of years, from chiropractors, to family practice Osteopathic doc to hemotology and oncology....and podiatrist, 2 in the same office really. They both had different ways to treat the different problems.

I sure hope you can find some relief, and don't beat yourself up too much over weight gain, there are a lot of small, skinny folks who have foot problems too.

You hang in there.
