pdoc does the suit/tie thing, but maybe pdocs are expected to do this. i notice when he gets new shoes (another floor starer here!). sometimes he wears nice cufflinks, and i really like that. he reckons he has the best ties in the hospital, but i'm not really a tie connoiseur. i do try to nod encouragingly when he points out a new tie and wants my approval.
new-T doesn't wear clothes, he wears 'outfits'

. everything is impeccably put together. some (most) of it is very stuck in the 70s, but he would have been the most fashionable kid on the block in those days. he wore a really awesome shirt last week (just a plain black buttoned business shirt, but the cut was perfect) and i wanted to tell him, but then i was like, ****! you're checking out your T!! all because he's wearing a nice shirt that shows off his nice body and hmmm nice body.... so i decided to keep quiet.
