SAWE - how did the red/blue combo go? it's sometimes really weird when we change how we typically present ourselves e.g., over summer i was working, so i would see pdoc in my work outfit afterwards. he needed to take a bit of time to adjust - he said he didn't recognise me the first few times he came into the waiting room (this is true - he called 2 ladies who were booked for sessions after me ) and then he was all "argh, i can't break through your professional face to get to the deli inside". because usually i wear my "therapy face", and that is a mask, but it's a less difficult mask to get behind. my professional face is cool, calm and collected. he very much treated me more like an grown up when i came in my work gear.
