1. Being asked the same questions over and over again by every doctor you see when you visit the ER for re-hydration. (You would think they could keep a list of the medications I said when I was first checked in and give it to the next person, it's not like they have changed while I've been waiting.)

2. Being told that you can leave the ER but then not being pointed towards the door (very big ER, very brain fuzzy).

3. Having the ER doctor treat you like it was ridiculous that you came in when it was your PCP who sent you directly from their office but you look a little better three hours and a bag of saline later. It would not have been my first choice of where to spend the afternoon.

4. Having my bosses (yes, that's plural) expect me to do work when I am at home sick.

5. Coming home to live in an environment that is completely unsupportive of my needs.

6. Having a 102'F fever for three days.

7. Feeling all alone.

8. Having no one to pick you up at the ER when you're discharged.

9. Not having any new books to read while sick.

10. Having occupational health call and wake you up when you are sick to tell you you can't come back to work until at least Tuesday.

So this post caught me in a really bad mood. Ok, going to try not to rant any more.
Thanks for this!
