Hi Kathy. My husband took Seroquel for about a year. His pdoc prescribed it because of an "episode" (our word). It happened once and eventually, he stopped taking it. Mainly, he said it made him feel calmer. It stopped his racing thoughts. And it made him sleep well. He was dissocciating at the time too.
