Hi Jay!! 
I feel like this a lot, more so when I am feeling more vulnerable. This definitely sounds like a depersonalization/derealization thing.
Hang in there. It can be really unnerving when it happens. I've found that when this happens to me, if I can remember at the time to do some grounding or mindfulness techniques, this can help me get back into myself.
