Sorry to hear about these uncomfortable and strange experiences you are having. It could very well be a medical condition related to an inner ear problem or possibly even a visual thing.
It also sounds like it could fit into Depersonalization/Derealization, which are both dissociative symptoms, and it could be that you are experiencing some form of anxiety attack that causes you to dissociate a bit.
There is a great sticky on the Dissociative Disorders forum that explains a bit about depersonalization and derealization. Stop by and check it out if you want.
I would suggest finding a new doctor and seeing if you can be checked for ear and eye disorders to rule them out. Let him/her know of your experiences, and if they rule out medical issues, then you can see about seeing a therapist to discuss these issues further and help you learn to cope and control them.
Try not to worry though....these experiences do not mean you're crazy or anything. If it is dissociation, it's okay...it's just the way some peoples minds cope with anxieties sometimes.
