Well, I delivered my heartfelt thanks printouts and posted them at the local grocery store close to where it happened, put one in each of the 2 mailboxes across the road from the houses of where those came out to assist me and one I handed to the police at the station when I drove back yesterday to pick up a copy of the report.
Happy to say, 2 unknown people that read the note in which I did close with my name, called me on the phone to ask "how are you"? read your note looked up your number and called, we were thinking of you
Wow, it feels good when there are some people left on this planet that care
A neighbor who is friends of a county cop told him when there is a "freshkill" they do pick it up (and they were doing so as I pulled away) bring it into a processor (which we have a few places around that butcher the carcass) the meat is all cut and packaged then brought to a food locker for the neighboring homeless shelters.
Hearing that kind of lifted the pain a teeny bit.
Just thought I'd share this with all of you, something a "little
lighter" than the nightmare that took place here, at our forums this week, hope all can be over with and all of us can move on or out if so wish to.
