Has your loom arrived yet? I bet it will be awesome!

I started knitting again last year. I have several unfinished projects, unfortunately. I have a problem with losing interest after awhile. It took me four years (!!!) to finish some mosaic tile stepping stones!! And the funny thing is, the last thing I had to do, grout them, was the best part! Grout is awesome. I loved mushing it in between the tiles. Hee hee. Very regressive but fun. And I'm so proud of those stones, even if they are slippery when wet! D'oh!

One of the groups of classes I took when I was getting my associates degree was called "therapeutic media". This was a series of three classes when we learned all kinds of stuff: woodworking, pottery, leather, weaving, and lots of other crafts. This class period was always my favorite, as it was so therapeutic just to be making things with our hands and expressing ourselves. I miss that!
