Hi Pom, two things:

If Jay were having any of those symptoms, how would we ever tell whether his musings were causing the symptoms, the result of them, or utterly independent of them?

(That said, if Jay were having the symptoms you describe, seeking help would of course be a good idea.)
Hey Fooze, scientifically speaking you are correct of course. I was just speaking of the latter - IF he's having those symptoms.

I have some close schizophrenic friends, and taking Jayz words without any context, they could sound schizophrenic-ish, as they do to me. I just want Jayz to be okay and not be in any danger, or seriously ill and not be aware of it. I'm no doctor and never claim to be professionally proficient in the mental health area, I just want to be helpful if I'm able. I've lived with mental illness all my life and have lots of negative experience. Such as not seeking treatment when I so obviously should have, thus getting sicker and sicker until I ended up suicidal and making attempts or so delusional in my thinking that people around me were looking at me as the proverbial "crazy" person. Hard on the self esteem. I don't wish that on anyone else.

I'd rather have a visit, note or pretty picture
than an "I'll say a prayer" or a "god bless you."
Doesn't make me feel better, no meaning to me for sure.
Can't stop you from praying and blessing me,
and if that makes you feel better feel free.
But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me.
And let's all respect each other's feelings.
With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."
Thanks for this!
