It sounds like your parents really care about you and your brother to have a team of psychologists, counselors and nurses to do a home visit.
I'm sorry that you became so anxious when they visited. I would think anyone would be nervous in that situation after such a negative experience with the hospital staff.
It will be hard at first but part of getting better will be learning how to remember that not all doctors or nurses or counselors are going to be mean or treat you poorly.
A lot of us have had very negative experiences in hospital settings and are further traumatized from those stays. It can happen.
I wouldn't be typing this right now unless I learned how to trust doctors again after many years of being afraid. It took me a long time and a lot of talking therapy along with medications.....but I have other disorders that require medications too.
Talking is hard but very important to figuring out if your experience did indeed cause a PTSD reaction. The more you are able to talk about it with someone trusted and safe the easier it gets eventually.
