so my T starts talking about all the rules and such about not having friendships with clients and so forth....

Im still in denial about my old T and being her friend...(oh yes it will happen)

anyway she was a state rep. to the ACSW convention many years back and was trying to explain how T's in small towns cannot be expected to follow such ludicrous guidelines as set forth by the powers to be who live in huge metropolitan areas....

case in point....my therapist son's best friend...his mom was a client of hers...now is she supposed to tell her son, "You cant be friends with so and so because his mom is my client"
so she regulary talked with her client outside of the office because their sons were best friends

she also mentioned how often she sees clients in grocery stores, malls, restaurants, etc.....

hell her house is only 1.6 miles from my house.....I pass by it everyday.....am I breaking the code of conduct?....I think not

apparently the academy of clincal therapists are re-thinking this whole area of therapist/client conduct thats why I brought it up....

meanwhile I spent 4 hours in the ER Sunday with chest pain....they wanted me to stay overnight for observation....I told them to "observe" me as I walked out the door and told the ER doctor, Doogie Howser could have given me a better diagnosis....

I saw my regular doc today who pretty much ruled out cardiac problems and recommended Pepto-Bismol for my loose bowels.....gee hes smart

gotta do a stress test though....treadmill !....woo hoo

eventually old T and me will cross paths at my new T's office...its inevitable and really I dont care if I do see her...my new T says she sees clients now who saw other T's in the same office.....its one big happy family....

John and Kate are getting a divorce!.....ok who are these people and why do I care???

if I had eight kids I'd be running too!

its hot here in the great land known as Southern Indiana....keeping plenty of Flavor-Ice on hand.....love the blue ones!

big snake in the garden tonight...wife went bonkers and wanted me to kill it....I just grabbed him by the tail and took him/her into the woods behind our house...big fatlong garter snake....took a good bite on my left leg but I still let it go....all of God's creatures have a place and purpose...
