I agree...sometimes contact outside of T is almost inevitable. When I was younger and seeing my old T, I saw him as Costco a couple of times...Considering the Costco was about five minutes from his office, it wasn't too unexpected. He even spoke to me...

Then the next week in T, the first thing he said was "I saw you in Costco Monday." My only thought was, "Duh, T...I was sorta there." He was bad about pointing out the obvious.
