I started having trouble when I was 15 & didn't get any mental health treatment. It is imperative for you to keep trying to get help--don't give up. I am now a middle-aged woman & have suffered for many years so you don't need to do that by getting help as soon as possible.

You deserve to have someone who listens & understands you. So is it possible to find a therapist or counselor through your school or church or call NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness--google NAMI) to find some resources?

Actually, you have a very good outlook in that you realize you need help & are seeking it. So don't give up (contact your doctor--general or family practitioner or internal medicine). You are taking good care of yourself & keep up the good work.
