(((((((((Hey GG )))))))))))))))))))))

When I initially went to the local vocational college for my LPN, I also did NOT qualify for Student Loans (Federal) b/c before I decided to go into the LPN; I took a couple of semesters of classes; which all were "false starts" like you.

BUT I had my mental Dx & got hooked up w/ Dept. of Vocational Rehab...(DVR) For 3 years, they paid for ALL classes & all books......AND, when I went through the LPN program, they paid for all uniforms...everything. If you're on SSDI you would have an automatic "IN" w/ DVR....plus, if you're paying child support too......you SHOULD get bumped up on the waiting list (if there is one) Go make an appt. w/ the DVR counselor at your school, tell them EVERYTHING!!

It's really worth your time & trouble! And, I didn't have to work either when I was in the initial LPN program!

And that's the bottom line from DAYZEE9
