One of my therapists works with me like you would work with a group, due to MPD, allowing many of us to 'attend' the session. Each of us is assigned a different beanie baby, which is used to alert her to who is presenting. When she was going through them, she was listing off all of who she met. When she came to mine she said "Oh, I've never met ____ before...". I'm the "host" and the one who pays the bill.
Another therapist I have/had is very funny, usually when she's not trying to be, which makes it that much more fun.
She agreed to attend my hooding ceremony for my master's degree. One of my little ones, is triggered by robes, especially robes with hoods. This particular little one fronted to my T and said " I am scared of the ceremony. Everyone is going to be in a black robe" and my T replies "Yes, but they won't have hoods on them" .... [pause by the little one] " But T, it's a hooding ceremony".
