Do you all remember me coming her and telling you my girl Cindy was 18 weeks pregnant or so and kept having placental abruptions, and was being held in the IWK childrens hospital in the maternity section, and that they didnt think that she would keep the baby any more than a week or so, and that she was a high risk for even losing her OWN life.
It was incredibly bleak back then, because noone at the hospital was being positive, i guess they were preparing her for the worst.. but noone would be hopeful with her so I did. I prayed every day for her. She had abruption after abruption after abruption, transfusions daily for the blood loss that was almost happening daily... many many scares.. BUT

Yesterday Cindy had her baby. She is so so tiny, but she is so HEALTHY looking for only 2p11oz! Just look at her! I cant beleive it she doesnt even really look preemie. She is so tiny that they cant fix the diaper on her.. they just lay it over her. But she is breathing on her own 100% and has either had or should shortly have her first poop and pee!!!
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! I am so proud of the two of them for hanging on. She had abruption after abruption after abruption. Transfusions became almost daily. Everyone told her to be prepared to lose her. And here she is healthy as a 5 pound baby but only 2p 11oz.
