There might be places that you may check into through your school. Perhaps like places to volunteer, or clubs that other's seeking similar interests join.

Maybe hang out at local parks that offer outdoor activities? (IF there is such an offering in your area...I know how those sort of things for teens are deminishing everywhere, anymore).

Also, you're old enough to apply for partime work, if that's an appealing option. That can serve you many benefits. Money in your pocket, experience in the workforce, exposure to new people (opportunity to meet new friends), and credits applied to your scholastic needs.
