Yeah, I agree with the others. I'd avoid the hospital unless you do get suicidal or feel impulsive enough to do something dangerous to yourself or others even if you don't intend to. You'll worry about bills, if people will find out, how long they will keep you, etc. if it's not too serious and wish you were at home in your own bed. If it is serious and you have ideation of self harm, definitely go to the hospital and screw the fears. There are state programs to help you with the costs if you're unable to pay or don't have very good insurance. I'd research all your options before you have to worry about being at that place.
