Mmm...wine. Seriously, it depends on the individual. Alcohol is a depressant, so I've been told to no end, but I find it relaxing and it can even lead to much mirthful silliness in my case. However, the blackouts from my excessive drinking just aren't worth it. I top out at 1 drink per night these days. Feel too tired on anything more than that, and don't feel quite right the next morning. So, if you like wine, try sipping one glass more slowly. Or if you can part with it, try something with less concentration of alcohol for the same quantity of drink.
