Anybody else here have a learning disability, too?
I have never been diagnosed with a learning disability, and I am a good reader. However, I do some weird things that I am not sure if they are explained by ADHD or by a mild learning disability. For instance, I lose my place on the page when I am trying to refer back to it when doing a homework problem (I frequently find i am finishing a different problem from the problem i started doing), and I miscopy numbers and signs from one line to the next when doing math. Also, when i'm tired or not concentrating well, I sometimes find that I leave out letters when I'm writing, or I sometimes start writing words in the middle instead of the beginning (and then I have to go back and add the beginning of the word). I'm good at spelling, though, and I always catch the mistakes right away and correct them. I also have a poor short-term memory.

Does anyone else have problems like these? If so, do you know if they are simply a result of ADHD or if there might be something else going on?

Thanks,
Kate
