Oh, but I do know how you feel.
I think many of us can identify with your comments.
It is okay to hide from the world, as long as it is not a daily occurrence.
I have been there when I just couldn't get out of bed; actually preferred the "safety" of the sheet and blankets over my head.
Drag the phone into your bed and call the DOC!!! Eventually you will need to use the bathroom...take that opportunity to drag that phone back to bed with you.
It will be a good thing and
something you can do for yourself, just for you...and the therapist will be glad you chose to call too.
