I have been on LoSEASONIQUE since May 3, 2009. Common side effects I've experienced are: spotting or bleeding between menstrual periods, breast tenderness, and headache. And I've experienced depression as a less common side effect.
My problem is that I've been spotting and bleeding since about June 14th. Some days more than others. Shortly after the spotting and bleeding started, my breasts became painfully tender and swollen.
For the past few weeks, I've been suffering from mood swings, depression, and panic attacks. But I would like to blame it on the stressful situation I've been in with my boyfriend. This past month, he's moved out of his apartment into his parents' house, lost friends, got into a car accident, and is now looking for a new job.
The yellow pills start on July 26th. This means that during that week, I will have a short, light period that should last about 3 days.
But If I've been constantly spotting for almost 3 weeks now, what should I really expect when I get my period? Has anyone else experienced this problem? And could I be in some sort of danger?
I, also, take 88mg Synthroid.
