I've been searching all over NAMI and my state and local gov pages and can't find a single mental health facility or psych ward other than in the capital city which is 4.5 hours away. I & my partner want to be aware of where I'd be going in case I have a manic episode again. I know where they took me the first time, but that was only a local hospital for an eval. I wonder if they would just keep a person there or transfer them somewhere else. I'll keep searching and PM me if anyone has ideas of where else I can look. Thanks.
