There is a tactic called diplomacy...although it was not applied much in your post. Perhaps, try not to make your opinion as hurtful to others and chances are other members won't feel a need TO play referee?..Just a thought..

The last time I checked, this was not a forum which required all of us to possess the same religious, social, political, cultural, moral, etc values.
It was my understanding that this is an online forum where people are allowed to express their opinions from all directions and where topics can be examined from all angles.
So with that being said... if my opinions are the complete opposite of another person's, it is not my problem nor is it my concern if they become upset or hurt because I happen to feel differently than they do!
Opinions are just that... opinions. All of us are entitled to express them.
Sugar coating different viewpoints is not required!!
Now... let's move on to discussing something else, shall we?
