Tina,
I can really relate to your heat problem & hating the summer. I live in the Mojave desert in California where we never have a day during the summer that is below 110 in the shade. I usually end up dehydrated & passing out. I usually go to the ER for rehydration so many times that they get to know me. I drink so much water that I slosh when I walk, but it never is enough to put back in what I loose. My GP has threatened to put me into the hospital for 3 days to rehydrate instead of using the ER this year because my weight is so low. That is great incentive not to let myself get into that condition but when I work with my horses, it is almost impossible to avoid. I try the cool showers before bed, icepacks on my neck, & even broke down to keep the central A/C on 24/7, but it just doesn't help me recover from the dehydration. I end up sweating off at least 2 lbs every night & can lose 5 lbs during the day. I REALLY HATE THE SUMMER!!!!!!! & it is just beginning.
Hoping you can find some relief that doesn't cost an arm & leg like A/C,
Debbie
