I recently befriended someone from Bible study after we discovered we had SO many mental health issues in common. I've known of her for years - her daughter has always been a years behind my son in school - they're in college now. But now she has taken a turn towards paranoia and is feeling like she can't trust me or our minister any longer, that we are going to spread all her secrets (we haven't and won't) I was a psych RN for many years and have dealt with this, but not "in my own backyard." I am just devastated. Any thoughts, ideas, responses? please. Thank you.
