I think my T has 2 clocks - one, she can see from her chair, but I can't see it from the couch. The other one is very small and sits on the heating unit in between us - I've learned to glance at this one, and not my watch, if I'm wondering how much time I have left. I really don't notice my T looking at the clock much.
