How cruel! Did this doctor even know you're a depressive? Argh!

This is one of the reasons I fear meeting new doctors. I'm afraid of what I'll do, or of what I will suffer, if they become patronizing. I've rehearsed in my mind what I might say in those situations, but until I find myself there, I have no idea what will actually happen.

Teary_me, were I in your shoes right now, I'd be contacting the hospital's/clinic's patient representative (if they have one) and informing them of the incident.
