Welcome Bobby. I would suggest reposting what you said in the depression forum. I think that may be a good place to start for your issues and to get support and feedback.

Being a single mother without any support is a very scary, lonely experience. I've been through that. Unlike you I didn't recoginize I needed help. That didn't turn out well for me. Don't make my mistake.

Have you tried finding or starting a group for other mothers with young children your daughters age? It's good for the kids to get to play together and it's great for the moms just to chit chat, share some tips or simply get silly.

Also I would suggest seeing a therapist. You do have a heavy load and shouldn't be going it alone. Also check out other social service agencies, your local woman's medical clinic or shelter, mental health clinic, places like that. They might have some good ideas or info to share with you. Don't give up, keep reaching out for help and support. And I'm so glad you are here at PC! Feel free to PM me anytime.

I'd rather have a visit, note or pretty picture
than an "I'll say a prayer" or a "god bless you."
Doesn't make me feel better, no meaning to me for sure.
Can't stop you from praying and blessing me,
and if that makes you feel better feel free.
But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me.
And let's all respect each other's feelings.
With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."
