There's one link for some information. I really haven't heard of anyone losing their mind because of it. And you wouldn't anyway, even if you do have it, because you're aware and so are your family members. (((((hugs)))
It's common, and treatable. Wouldn't it be "nice" to find one thing that would take care of all those bad issues with which you are dealing?

Thanks Sky. I went to the endocineweb site earlier and most of the things that have been happening to me were on the symptoms. Including the aching joints, migraines and tingling in my hands and feet. I am just scared of the mental symptoms more than anything. I guess because in the media the only things you hear about mental illnesses are bad and usually are linked to the mentally ill person doing something really horrible. And yes it would be so nice to know that something as common as hypo thyriod is the root of my problems. I also read that most people with hypo thyriodisim are misdiagnosed as being mentally ill and then given the most commonly used anti-psychotics and anti anxiety drugs. At one point I was on 5 differant pills a day to control my anxiety and other things I think all those pills made me worse. But I hope that this will be the answer to my problems. I know that sounds dumb but at least my depression and anxieties would be easily explained and understood. Again thanks so much
