Roxy I see YOU were asking for some ideas ;

You can always ask your Docs if a home re-hab program of light duty type is warrented .
I found walking and easy movement / stretching helped pain areas with improved circulation ,,, it had the added benefit of shedding a few pounds to boot .

And those disability reports that ask doc to opine how much weight aperson can lift ? B.S. who ever lifted wet clothes out of a dryer and first thought ,,, " is this heavier than 5lbs.?"

Eat nutritionally >>.. leave the fatty foods at the drive through ,, take short walks till you get a feeling of >> " this not so bad " ,, and be patient .

[ ask your Doc first though ] ,, I can't imagine [ unless a peep is confined to a wheelchair ] that he would out right say >>> " Bad Idea "
