I just wanted to get others thoughts on something that happened to me the other morning. It has been bothering me yet made me think.

I was talking to an ex girlfirend. We have stayed friends for the most part and sometimes confide in each other with issues each of us have. Anyway, i was telling her about how my depression seems to be getting really bad and she agreed I'm depressed alot. I mentioned how I'm going to the doctors to try to get help and for some reason this set her off. She then told me I was a head case and she was glad I left her. Then she said I dont need meds to deal with my problems.

It really hurt that she responded like that and it made me angry towards her that she would say that. At the same time its put doubts in my head about getting help. Sometimes I just dont know what to think :/
