What's going on lately? Does your mom know you're bipolar and how serious it is? I hope if she doesn't understand the disease that the psychiatrist or some online materials can help explain it to her. It's very confusing to those of us who have it and to those around us. We don't want to hurt anyone or ourselves, but our moods make it very difficult at times. I hope you're able to meet with someone and get onto the right meds for you and start a comprehensive treatment plan. I wish I knew I had this when I was 17. I probably would have resisted meds and treatment at that point, but it would've made my feelings and behavior make more sense and perhaps prevented some of the heartache.
I hope you don't ever feel ignored on the site. People don't do it on purpose. Everyone here I've met is kind and understanding. Sometimes they just overlook a new post, or they're on vacation, or they've been out all day, or they're too depressed to come online.
You're not forgotten. I hope you will stay in touch.
