Well, I had the test.
The test itself was nothing. They shot my arm with some radioactive stuff and took some pics. It was kind of cool, really. I could see my liver, my gall bladder, and my intestines on the screen.

Staying completely still was a problem. It took about an hour. And I have a very bad back. I've had back surgery already, and still have some back issues that surgery can't fix. They only had two small pillows to put under my knees; they were worthless. By the time I was able to move, at the end of the test, I was in tears, due to the pain in my back!

A big hospital with all this expensive radiography technology, and they didn't have one of those triangle pillows for under the knee! Unbelievable! How many people have bad backs!

Anyway, I went to the beach with my sister and my son afterwards, and had a lobster salad sandwich! Walking around made my back feel much better soon enough, thank goodness!

So, if anyone else ever has to have a Hida Scan, you'll know what it's like.
You just may want to bring your own knee pillow, though!

Peace!
