Laptop broke again. SIX FREAKING DAYS after I got it back.
Christina = very not happy.
I was a nervous sobbing mess last night, because I REALLY don't need this right now! But nothing can be done at this point.
It's definitely got to be a harddrive failure. At least I was able to backup all my info to my external harddrive this time.
Someone is in deep trouble at Staples. Maybe more than one person. I spoke to two of the managers, who will be getting the situation sorted out on Monday when the tech guy gets back from vacation (he's the one who originally started this mess by not informing me of the status of my laptop the first time!)
I may get an HP "buy back" if Staples can convince them it's needed. Which would mean I'd get the money for another laptop, or another laptop of the same value. Either would be good at this point. I'm never buying HP again. Or at Staples again.
As of Monday, the disability centre on my campus WILL be lending me a laptop for July/August, whenever I get my laptop back. But this weekend will be spent in the library working on my assignment due on Monday.
SOOOOOOOOOO I'm NOT ignoring you all - I'm not really here right now.
I just hope my laptop gets fixed soon. Should take 2-3 weeks likely... if it's anymore than that, I may throw a hissyfit.
