I think it's good to step back and take a break if you feel you need one. That's okay....it's good self care. 
I do hope everything is okay! Your comment about not being of any help kind of makes me think you really need some extra support right now.
We all do what we can, emotionally, to assist and support others. It is okay to not have anything to give to anyone else other than you. I just hope you're not taking a break because you don't feel worthy of asking for support.
I'm not sure if anything happened....but if there is something that did happen here on PC that has upset you, I would suggest talking with Admin about it.
We'll be here for you when you decide to come back.....

P.S. I Luv SWA too....My Uncle is a Flight Attendant with SW and he raves about them. I've flown with them quite a few times and always seem to have really good experiences.
