I took lexapro and trazodone for about a year. I was on 50mg of trazodone at night for sleep, as I found that the lex gave me insomnia. It worked fine for me, and unless I didn't get enough hours of sleep, I didn't find that the trazodone made me "hung over" after about the first week. But if I didn't take the trazodone, I hardly slept. One time I went four days without sleep.

The lexapro worked for me for awhile as well, but I found that it stopped working eventually. I ended up on 40mg per day for the last five months, which basically made me lethargic and apathetic. When it worked at smaller doses though (like 20mg) I didn't have those symptoms.

Overall, it was a good combo for me while it worked. Good luck!
