I'm so glad you went through with this date, Jan. Even though your blind date, Richard, didn't turn out to be compatible, you've managed to accomplish so much yesterday. J sounds like a great guy. You are lucky to have him as a friend.

Maybe Richard acts in ways that you do not like because this was a first date and he's extremely anxious. Might you consider a second date with him, Jan? Afterall, it was only one date.
