Fuzzy, I was away last week so I saw all of your posts at once this morning (here in SI). I noticed the order in which you posted each thread. Your first thread was about the message that you still carry with you from your abusers. Then you let out your anger in the next post. Then you posted on how to not continue to punish yourself like the abusers did. Finally, you posted this one. I see this as moving forward for many reasons. #1) You reached out and shared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #2) You wrote out each step of this here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know from experience how helpful writing it out and sharing is to working through things. #3) like I said in the other post, getting this message outside of yourself is very good and this is how you work on combating these harmful messages. #4) Your list above ^ is very, very good! The first step of problem solving is to define the problem and this you have done very well! Each issue above needs careful working through. Have you started on any of them yet???? I would suggest starting with one at a time, maybe make a thread to help you?????????? IMO, it seems that the order of these is in pretty good order. The list goes from specific to more broad and they seem to build on each other so starting at the top might be good??????? You have actually already started because by posting each of the posts that you did this week you were expressing needs so you must already believe to a degree that you are allowed needs! To be treated with respect this is a practice thing IMO. You have to problem solve each incident where you are confronted with this.

Oh yeah, you titled this thread failure but actually this thread is a success because you outlined what you have to work on........
